Foundation Hogar de Esperanza is Ecuador’s Make a Wish Foundation? For four years, we have been making wishes and dreams come true for children suffering from critical illness, especially cancer. This year is particularly sad, because of Covid, poverty and other issues many of the children dealing with cancer have had a very difficult time. The reality is that we are seeing a death rate that is the highest since we have started this program.
We have some incredible plans with these children, and we have enlisted the help of many organizations such as the National Police and Cuenca’s Soccer Team. We are getting daily requests to help these children and it is only possible with your help. Starting next week, so as not to spoil the surprises, we will be showing you some of the incredible things we are doing. We do not want to say no to any suffering child for whom this may be their last wish.
