Whether you arrived last week, or last year, many new arrivals are still trying to figure out how integrate into Cuenca. What city services are available? What’s a fair rent to pay? Which internet or cell service to use? Are there international schools? How do I connect with the many taxi services? Where can I find maid and gardening services? Can I safely bank in Cuenca? How can I get involved in social organizations, work with students, and community participate in community events? Can I rent a car? Now that I am retired, where can I volunteer? What’s medical services like? How about insurance? Immigration questions, and much, much more!

This open house is designed just for you. We will have 12 tables set up each with English speakers where you can go and ask questions and make appointments. That way, you don’t need to sit for hours hearing presentations you have no interest in. You can personalize the information that pertains to your specific needs and get answers. We even have a table called “expat living” manned by seasoned expats who can offer sound advice and answer your personal and practical questions about living in Cuenca.

If you haven’t been to Frank’s new Kola Restaurant and Bakery, it’s easy to find. Right in the center of el Centro on Luis Cordero (5-65) between Calle Larga and Juan Jaramillo (Hotel La Vieja-2nd floor). Frank is providing a cash bar for the event.
