Dear Friends of Mujeres con Ėxito,
As the holidays rapidly approach, we continue to work to meet the needs of the women and children we serve at Cuenca’s only women’s domestic violence safe haven.
Our mothers tell us they need shoes and clothes for their children, so we will add those to the packages with the children’s presents. That adds up to $50 for each child. Considering we have 200 children (including babies and toddlers) that is a whopping $10,000 but we have raised $2400. We will be using sales from these events to fund Christmas:
Garage Sale, December 4, from 9 AM to 1 PM,
Carols, Cupcakes and Coffee Event on December 7, from 3 to 5 PM.
Master of Ceremonies Linda Chase, Carols led by Melody Claus (AKA Crabb) accompanied by Davide Z on keyboard and Katy Johnson on French Horn
2022 Calendars sales. They will be arriving any day now.

Please take donations and your saved pennies to Mujeres con Éxito at Balthazar de Calderon 226 y Miguel Velez Monday thru Friday from 9 AM – noon. If you have more than you can carry, we can also arrange for pick up. You can also send your donation by PayPal using mcbsusan@outlook.com, contact us for bank info for direct deposit or bring your donation to one of our events.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support of the children at Casa Maria Amor/Mujeres con Éxito. So many of our children have witnessed violence and experienced trauma. Your help will give them better memories and bring love into their lives this Christmas.
