Dog training assistant who speaks both English and Spanish

I would like to find an educated Ecuadorean to help me with a dog training project. This is likely 2-4 hours a week at this time. The ideal assistant is Ecuadorean, speaks very good English, has a big heart, and loves dogs. Did I say, loves dogs?

Could you please tell me a little about yourself in a text or email to the addresses below?

Of course I will pay you. We will have to negotiate a price that seems fair to both of us.

Helping a good friend find work – handyman, cleaner, translator

Please consider hiring Elix Solorano for your household jobs including house cleaning. I have known him for over 3 years now and he has become a close friend who I trust implicitly. He is from Venezuela and has all his papers in order and also his visa for work.

He painted the interior of my house, hung pictures, installed curtain rods, cleaned my floors and windows, even prepped food for a function I was hosting. He moved heavy furniture, watered my plants when I went away for a week, walked my 2 dogs when I had surgery and my garden looks beautiful now that he has brought it back to life.

He can also assist you as a translator with doctor’s appointments, opening a bank account, legal matters etc. He worked for over 3 years as a waiter and food prepper at various restaurants here in Cuenca.

Elix speaks perfect English. He is your “go to” guy to help you in many areas.

Cat scratchers and towers

Cats are curious, fearless animals and they love to play. Life locked up at home can be boring for them without games or surprises. Remember that they need to meet their needs and scratching is one of their basic instincts, to file their nails, as a form of play, for anxiety or insecurity or to defend their territory. Many times we get angry because our cat has scratched the sofa or the curtains, but we should ask ourselves, are we giving it any alternative?

Scratchers for cats are a good gift for them, it helps them to stay active and keep their nails in good condition. Plus, it’s yours, yours alone. Something that cats love.

– 5 reasons why your cat should use a scratching post:

Wills or end of Life plans with Monica Gonzaga Facilitator Services

Doing this “After-Life Plan” is a bit rude to think; nobody wants to die or think about these things, but this can happen to anyone, unexpectedly. Are you prepared?
Well, you must think about what will happen to your belongings in Ecuador. What will happen to you if you suddenly die?

You must have everything prepared. It is important that your wishes are legalized, to avoid, as has happened in previous cases, that by not having a legal document to determine the wishes of the deceased, the Ecuadorian government proceeds in its own way.

Dog training – Tip # 1: “An aggressive dog in a multi-dog household”

In the coming weeks, I’m going to offer some quick tips for common dog-training problems.

Today: if you have a multi-dog household and some of your dogs are mean to the others, try teaching everyone good manners. What are good manners? Sitting and waiting for meals, for going outside, for greeting guests, etc. The dog with the best manners gets the food, gets the attention, etc. Even your dominant one will fall in line under these new rules.

Want to know more? Call me, I can help. I am a CTP (Certified Training Partner) of the prestigious Karen Pryor Academy.

Recommendation for Sebastian – Mudanzas y Transporte, moving company

I just moved this past week and used Sebastian’s company because so many people I know recommended him.

He was actually in the US during my move so his wife, who is also his business partner, handled giving me the estimate and supervised the entire move. They both speak English.

The movers were on time, and packed everything in moving blankets and/or heavy duty plastic wrap. Everything made it to the new place and nothing was broken.

They used their time wisely and completed the move in just a few hours.

And I was amazed at the low price.

I chose to pack all my belongings so they supplied the boxes, foam wrap and tape for a decent price.

I don’t plan to move again, but if I do, I will call them again to help me.

Here’s their contact info if you’re interested.

About: What’s going on in all the prisons in Ecuador is horrendous. This is the terrible reality of most prisons in Latin America. ‘Tropa de Elite,’ attempts to show how these problems are created. An incredible Brazilian film that highlights the actual security situation of Rio de Janeiro. Not enough resources from the government, a corrupt military, the vast political power of illicit bands and many other factors that make a dangerous cocktail of criminality and thus feeding the grave problem which afflicts all jails in South America. This film is simply a Latin American wonder.
