Cañari routes: bike and hike tours

Hello, To end October 2021, we are planning two incredible biking and hiking tours in the Cañar province. We invite you to those experiences that combine nature, culture, and adventure.

Sunday, October 24:

Cañari Bike Tour: Rails for Trails

We will travel to Cañar Province, to enter a magical bike trip following the rails and
tunnels of the old Ecuadorian train. Surrounded by green Andean landscapes we
arrive at “Ingapirca” and we will visit “Coyoctor Archeological Complex” also called
“Baño Del Inca”, ancient ceremonial temple of Cañari and Inca cultures.

Sunday, October 31:
Qhapaq Ñan HikingTour: Inca Trail

We move to the “Sangay National Park” in the Cañar Province, to start a hiking along the Inca Trail “Qhapaq Ñan”, that was declared by UNESCO as World Heritage of Humanity, where we will follow a path of old stones that are combined with beautiful mountain landscapes.

To conclude our tour we will visit the Coyoctor Archaeological Complex “Baño del Inca”, located in the town of El Tambo, and very close to Ingapirca, forming part of the same ceremonial-administrative complex.
