To a Pedir a Boca

Thank you Felipe for all the free language lessons, the special chicken soup which came with the just right veggies on top; and all the wonderful meals and deserts that came out of your one man kitchen. You had the longest carrot strips I have ever seen. Your paintings, your flags, photos (the crying cat), the knickknacks that decorated your surroundings, making your restaurant a very special place to enjoy.

For every one who patronized your spot on Benigno Malo and Juan Jaramillo, let’s give three cheers in a phone call or mention on the website that “we will certainly miss you as a favorite spot to go to in the Historic District of Cuenca. I wish you well on your next journey. May it be as creative as this one.
