Jimmy is about 2-years old and is at his adult size of 9 kg and is 50 cm – tall to his head. He’s neutered, dewormed and vaccinated. He’s a quiet little guy and not zappy at all. Hikers discovered him and another dog in an abusive situation, tied up and malnourished, in a remote area 30 minutes hike from the road. They took a video and arranged for FAAN to rescue the pair. Here’s what Jimmy’s foster mom has to say about him:
“I knew his rescue story and how FAAN worked for 6 months to improve his health. I expected to encounter a skittish, damaged doggie, but was astonished at this little guy’s resiliency. Within the first hour, he snuggled in the alpaca blanket on my lap, allowing me to pet him with a nubby grooming glove I bought at Coral. He couldn’t snuggle close enough! He’s been tolerant toward my high-energy puppy. Although he did play with the other shelter dogs, particularly the one he knew from his former life, he likely would prefer a lower energy companion or to be the only dog that looks at you adoringly. He’s still adjusting to a life indoors that comes with toys and attention. Things like stairs are strange to him. He needs a little guidance on not lifting his leg indoors. I started him on UDerm Omega gel daily to get his coat in tip-top condition.”
This awesome pup is ready to come home with you!
