We are looking for an ESL teacher for Unidad Educativa Particular Emanuel, Macas, Ecuador (Macas is at the edge of the jungle 5 hours from Cuenca). We offer English to all students from preschool to high school level. This is a full-time position. The teacher will teach English to various grades in our school, up to 20 hours of teaching per week and complete necessary lesson plans, grades, design class projects, help low students with tutoring and complete other required paperwork as well as attending required meetings and events. Generally, the hours are Monday through Friday. As an Evangelical Christian School, we ask teachers to be willing to teach values and follow our vision and mission statement (see http://www.emanuel.edu.ec for more information). The ideal candidate is organized, has good technology skills and is willing to teach various levels (preschool, school, high school). Must be willing to obtain a B2 certificate within 3 months.
