We are almost a third of the way to our goal? Can you help us?
It is time for our mothers to start worrying about sending their kids back to school.
Our dilemma: 22 shelter children living at Casa Mara Amor + 78 shelter children living outside the shelter x $95 = $9,500. This is the amount needed to provide our children with shoes, uniforms, underwear, backpacks and supplies. (Please note: thanks to our mailing list generosity and you wonderful people on GringoPost, we have raised $3000 of this goal since last Friday)
How you can help: We are looking for more $95 sponsors to help our kids return to school. If you can afford more, that would be great too.
If you are unable to contribute the entire amount at this time, we are also offering $20 partial sponsorships.
Scholarship payments can be made through PayPal or dropped off at Mujeres Con Exito.

Or, if you prefer to make a donation in cash, please bring it to Mujeres Cont Exito. Call before you go to the facility to make sure someone is available. We can also provide our bank information for a direct deposit if you prefer that method.
We are also offering a 50/50 drawing. Tickets are $1 each and the winner will receive 50% of the collected raffle money. The winning ticket will be drawn on August 31st, however you do not need to be present to win.

In the event the children are prohibited from returning to school due to Covid restrictions, the children will be taught by our in-house teachers and monies for uniforms will be set aside for their eventual return to in-person school.
