In this menu, we celebrate our (grand)parents’ favorite foods. Being rural Midwesterners, vegetarian wasn’t really a thing in their time so you’ll find two meaty dishes. The BBQ sauce for the casserole is a St. Louis-style sauce–thinner and a bit more vinegary than KC-style. Mom/Grandma was known to whip up a batch of chili even on the warmest of days, and the family always loved it. We’ve modernized her recipe a bit. Strawberry shortcake was one of their all-time favorite desserts, but Mom/Grandma loved nothing more than a Snickers bar right out of the freezer. Our sweets this week are takes on those two indulgences.
BBQ Chicken Mac & Cheese Casserole: $25 (6-8 servings); $19 (4-5 servings)
Beef & Black Bean Chili: $8/lb (2-3 servings)
Strawberry Shortcake Cupcakes: $2.50 each
Snickers Cookie Bars: $3 each
Orders are due by 3 PM on Tuesday, August 10. When placing your order, please include the following information.

Preferred pick-up/delivery day (Thursday or Friday)
Delivery address, if applicable
Pick-up or $2 (estimated) delivery is available Thursday or Friday, August 12 or 13 between 10 AM and 2 PM. Once all of the orders are received, we’ll be able to confirm a more specific time frame. Delivery is free for orders of at least $25.
Thanks to those of you who have ordered—some every week—since we started our casseroles, soups, and salads last March. We’re the same people with the same name making the same excellent food since August, 2017. Continue taking good care of yourselves.
