Being greeted by Tatiana, Owner/Chef (a Le Cordon Bleu Cooking School Lima’s graduate) is always comforting and pleasant and a sure indication that one is up for a perfect meal.
On our first visit we all had the exquisitely tender Peruvian Beef Tenderloin served with a light wine and roasted pepper sauce and on our second, we had especially reserved (because of its substantial popularity) a most delectable, fall-of-the-bone Duck Leg Confit served with a sweet/sour berry sauce, fresh asparagus and the canonical Sarladaises potatoes.
Always a little complimentary amuse-bouche, fresh cut flowers on the table, food so creatively presented, great selection of house-made desserts, good wine selection, reasonably priced and a perfect view of the Cathedral are all just an added bonus and a blissful reminder that our visits there this week were long-overdue.
