Looking for land for sale

Looking for land for sale in Cuenca, 10,000 -1,000,000

Hello Expats. I’m looking for 10+ HA of raw or developed land. I prefer the Cuenca area, but will consider any place near a major city, but it must be no more than 90 minutes away from an airport. I’m in no rush, so I’ll only consider a Fire-Sale or a very good deal, but I can close quickly and would even be willing to pay a referral fee for a truly excellent deal. Requirements: – 10 HA + – Must have paved road access – Water, electricity and internet available I’m not interested in properties that are already listed on the internet. ***** No condos or houses on small land.

Recommendation for Andreas Viet Cajun Shrimp Boil, restaurant – delivery or pick up

Twice now, we have had the Cajun Shrimp Boil from Andreas and twice now I swear it is the best we have had anywhere outside of Louisiana. 5-6 Jumbo shrimp boiled with an andouille type sausage, and a mini ear of sweet corn – all boiled together and finished with a wonderful butter and garlic sauce, rosemary and lemon and just the right amount of cayenne to let your mouth know it has had a taste of real Cajun. If you like Cajun (and miss it) give Andreas a call. Can’t recommend this enough.

Recommendation for Isabel Mosquera, visa facilitator

Isabel is the best. We got our permanent visas within days. We never had to go to Azogues or the airport, not even once. I’m blown away as the facilitator who did our temp visa required multiple trips to Azogues where we each got to pay each of them by the hour for each trip, in addition to the fees we paid before we left the States. We were also sent on a miserably uncomfortable trip to Guayaquil, which other facilitators did not require, but we were new and naively thought it was required of everyone.

Speaking of fees, Isabel advertised she was about half of most competitors, which is true. Additionally, she doesn’t ask for her fees until you have the visas. Wow, that’s a true guarantee.

She strikes us as polite, timely, competent, customer service oriented in North American style, and speaks excellent English. She worked in Canada for decades until she returned to her native Cuenca. You can ask her anything and she answers without barking at you. She has her own car and of course, she doesn’t need an interpreter. She communicated with us every step of the way. Truly the best customer service experience we’ve had here.

Beautiful German shepherd, female, 10 months, needs a home

This gorgeous, sweet dog named “Campana” currently lives with my neighbors. Along with her Mom and another unlucky dog, she’s chained up with not enough slack to move very far. She’s at least 75% German Shepherd, really particularly beautiful. She was the runt of the litter, her brother was adopted by another family member and luckily has a good life, free to move around. He’s significantly bigger than she, I don’t think she’ll get very big, she’ll be a medium sized dog. She’s very sweet, I stop to pet her and the others every other day or so and she’s very friendly with me, no signs of aggression. The humans would like $20 to cover the vaccinations they paid for, other than that they’re not trying to make any money from this dog. These people are quite poor and cannot feed their dogs well, they eat mostly rice. If you’re looking for a stunning, medium-sized dog, friendly and sweet, Campana could be your girl. If you’re interested, I can give you directions and arrange for you to meet her.
