Looking for 2 bedroom apartment for rent
Looking for 2 bedroom furnished apartment for rent in Cuenca, $300-$450
I need to find a place to rent six months minimum, that is secure, won’t mind me playing acoustic guitar at all hours, furnished, utilities included, access to nature, and close to shopping, medical/dental offices, $400 a month or less. Who do I need to contact? Also, I will need a personal facilitator as my Spanish is minimal. Blessings and Balance,

Thank you to Suzanne at Cuenca Consignments, Sara at idiomART, Sole at La Yunta and Karen. In addition, the call for donations of pennies, resulted in more than 60 pounds of pennies.
If you still have pennies that you want to donate, please stop by the Mujeres office on Monday or Tuesday mornings from 8 AM to noon (Baltazara de Calderon 2-26) If your bags of pennies are more than you can carry, a pick up can be arranged by calling Diana at 098 474 7919.

With the British variant circulating, what is the ideal mask to avoid the spread of covid-19?
The arrival of the British variation of covid-19 in Ecuador has concerned both medical personnel in the country and the general public.
For this reason, it is necessary – now more than ever – to maintain the practices that during 2020 prevented thousands of infections: the use of a mask, constant hand washing and the respective biosecurity and social distancing protocols.
In August 2020, Duke University researchers developed a simple and inexpensive optical device that allows measuring the ability of a mask to block respiratory droplets that infect COVID-19, by making them visible using laser light and counting them using a computer algorithm. .
During the trials of this new device, it was confirmed that when people speak, they expel droplets, so that the coronavirus disease can be transmitted by talking, without coughing or sneezing, according to physician Eric Westman and physicist and chemist Martin Fischer, co-authors of this research.
Using this method, the experts found that the best face covers are the hospital-grade, valved KN95 masks used by healthcare workers. (Source: BBC.com)
I am Andrés Guillermo, authorized distributor for Cuenca and Azuay of these masks, imported from the USA, comfortable, light, adaptable to any face, their use does not cloud the lenses, they can be used by children or adults. I sell them by unit or by box of 20 units. Laminated to avoid manipulation. Contact me WhatsApp 099 647 2877 or call me, free home service.
