The next meeting of your Cuenca English Lions Club will be held today, 7 October, from 12:30 until 2 PM at La Parrillada restaurant in Cuenca. Note: this notice assumes transportation services within Cuenca are operating normally, and no emergency procedures are enacted by authorities.
We are proud to announce that our guest speakers for this month will be Kay Johnson, retired RN and Jo-Anne Jackson, Medical Educator, both representing Cuenca Medical Services.
“Cuenca Medical Services was created to offer a directory of English-speaking medical and healthcare professionals and services in the Cuenca area. Listings are based on positive feedback from persons who have used these services. The information provided has been reviewed and verified by our committee before being included in the directory, and there are also downloadable forms available that are useful to expats who have chosen to make Cuenca their home.”
Come and listen to this important and interesting presentation. And, please consider becoming a member of the Cuenca English Lions Club, whose goal is to assist those less fortunate in this great city in the fields of Vision, Diabetes, Hunger and Education.
The meeting as always, is free, and if you wish to order a fine almuerzo from La Parrillada, please plan to come at 11:30 AM when our meeting room becomes available for eating and socializing. Thank you.
